About the Author
When my oldest son, a Marine, left for war and crossed the border from Kuwait into Iraq in March 2003 I started writing my conscience. Stopped off at The Coquille Valley Sentinel today and learned that Ron Plano of Mast Brother’s Towing risked life and limb to take a vehicle with possible explosives out of the neighborhood of 9th and Dean Street, Friday night. Even though he did not know whether the devices were on a timer or how volatile they might be he hooked up his truck to the car and towed it out of town so that bomb experts could dismantle it. Three cheers!!!
