When my oldest son, a Marine, left for war and crossed the border from Kuwait into Iraq in March 2003 I started writing my conscience. After two tours that young combat veteran, my first born son, is now permanently disabled suffering from post traumatic stress disorder and his mother is now an ardent peace activist. Today I am active with Veterans for Peace, Military Families Speak Out and on the board of Rural Organizing Project Also, I am CEO of Rogue River Wind, Ltd and the inventor of a low profile wind turbine incorporating a high bandwidth generator developed with Portland State University.

Rick Goche to be in Port Orford today

RICK GOCHE TO ATTEND CURRY COUNTY DEMOCRATIC OFFICE OPENING
On Saturday August 16, Rick Goche, candidate for State House of Representatives, will attend the grand opening of Port Orford office of the Curry County Democratic Party.
“I look forward to talking with more Port Orford voters while at the grand opening.” Goche says.
So far Rick has knocked on nearly 3000 doors in the communities of Port Orford, Brookings, Gold Beach, Bandon, Coquille, Myrtle Point, Green Acres, Powers and Winston. Goche, a commercial fisherman by trade, says he has hired a skipper to run his boat for the tuna season this year so he can dedicate his time to the campaign. “It is that important to me” he says.
