Following are some interesting demographic information about MGx readers. Despite being written, edited and published by a woman a disproportionate number, 72% of MGx readers are male.
The highest proportion of MGx readers, 22%, is betwee the ages of 45 and 54 and 11% of readers are over the age of 65 which exceeds the national internet average of 6% for that age group.
MGx readers tend to be educated with 69% having been to college and or grad school and 61% earn more than $50,000 per year. Finally, our readers are predominantly white, 92%, and 63% have no children living in the home.

These results were compiled after a two week sampling and the sampling is ongoing. If the results change significantly over time I will let everyone know.

Curious – how do you know these to be facts? Would also be interested in how many visitors vs the 9,000 circulation of the sometimes local daily paper. Would appreciate something about the writer, editor and publisher. Unlike me with three degrees, you can speak and write. Unlike the employees of the daily paper, you can spell.
