Republican IT specialist calls for check into Diebold voting machines
Stephen Spoonamore discusses serious voting irregularities with voting machines in a video interview. More here at AlterNet
In an interview from October, 2006, that has only now seen the light of day, Stephen Spoonamore, one of the world’s leading experts in cyber crime and a self-described “life-long Republican” destroys Diebold’s already non-existent credibility.
Spoonamore lays it out for anyone to see and understand. If you care about America and it’s survival as a democratic republic, you’ll watch this interview.
The interviews are on YouTube and are being carried by a new site created by Velvet Revolution, RoveCyberGate.com.
Here is a snippet of the interview here -

Was that the NSA on the line?
While being interviewed by a foreign journalist today it was hard not to notice the echo on the phone line. Sad that we are freely tapped without any regard for our privacy and while I can’t say for sure that was the reason, I have had overseas calls absent the electronic feedback.
Coquille police question veteran on the way to a peace vigil
We held a 5th anniversary vigil in Coquille today. Seven of us marked the anniversary and the loss of almost 4,500 GIs in Iraq and Afghanistan by standing out on Hwy 42 and N Adams St in Coquille holding Veterans for Peace signs. One of our veterans had traveled over from Bandon to participate. After parking his car he was walking to the highway when a Coquille officer pulled over.
The veteran noting that the officer was staring at him closely asked if there was something he needed and the officer requested his ID. He showed him his ID but wanted to know why he was being questioned and the officer’s reply was, ” I don’t know you”.
Since when is it a crime to be unknown to the police or worthy of being questioned? Certainly to newcomers this is very unwelcome attention. It is not conducive to a friendly atmosphere or in any way would it encourage someone to want to settle in Coquille.
This veteran was doing nothing more than walking down the street. This is an example of why so many people do not care to visit Coquille.
UPDATE: It should be mentioned that this veteran, a former Navy sonar man, declined to join us after the vigil at El Tapatia for dinner preferring to take his business outside of Coquille. It might be worth considerin g how unnecessary contact by police officers impacts our struggling local business.
Education not incarceration
Washington State trooper confuses codes. These citizens have stood out weekly with a sign “Education not Incarceration” for over a year but this cop over reacted. Where have we seen that happen before?
Using fear and chaos
Coincidence? Or something else… it is not unheard of in history that attacks have coincided with planned military exercises. Read this report from Global Research. Note these two videos relating to events of 9/11 and also from 7/7 in London and suggest the possibility of a false flag event.
Why bring this up? Well three cities have been suggested as possible targets for a ‘false flag’ prospect, including Portland
Tertiary Target: Portland. Portland, called “Little Beirut” by Bush cronies because of its enmity to Bush 41 and Bush 43, only made my top three list last summer, when it was designated as a target for a nuclear attack by successive exercises Noble Resolve and TOPOFF. The language in an official press release stated the case plainly enough: “Noble Resolve will coordinate with officials in Oregon to model a nuclear attack on Portland.” In the course of researching Portland for a series of articles I wrote about the city and its exercises. I discovered that Stanford and Harvard had prepared a detailed nuclear fallout map for it, that national military commanders and state National Guard commanders were telling different stories about what the exercises were trying to accomplish, and that Portland’s The Oregonian newspaper was doing everything it could to avoid investigating the frightening anomalies. I wasn’t at all surprised that the last day of the exercises found the Homeland Security director Michael Chertoff in downtown Portland, which was largely closed down by an “unexpected” bomb threat. For another professional perspective on how great the danger was — and may be again — I refer the reader to the analysis of my colleague, Major William B. Fox (USMC):

Watch the other videos as well, they do beg many questions.
Bush is a fascist
Olbermann had another one of this special comments for George Bush and his threat to veto a FISA bill that does not include immunity for the telecoms – from Rawstory
Using fear to to bully the US people for laws which strip them of their own rights is both fascist and criminal.
That the President was willing to veto this eavesdropping, means there is no threat to the legitimate counter-terror efforts underway.
As Senator Kennedy reminded us in December:
“The President has said that American lives will be sacrificed if Congress does not change FISA. But he has also said that he will veto any FISA bill that does not grant retroactive immunity.
No immunity, no FISA bill. So if we take the President at his word, he’s willing to let Americans die to protect the phone companies.â€
InfraGuard – guarding the infrastructure or structuring the guards
If Blackwater is the SS, and Homeland Security is the Gestapo, then InfraGuard must be the Nazi Party. I’m just guessing, because it’s all so secret.
Note that in the Progressive article it says “when, not if, martial law is declared…” I don’t think Dumbya and Buckshot are planning on leaving office!
“As Romney told it, Sen. Hillary Clinton or Sen. Barack Obama would ’surrender’ to our enemies abroad.
By prolonging the Republican nomination battle, Romney said, he would dangerously hobble McCain’s ability to attack the Democrats. ‘And in this time of war,’ Romney said, ‘I simply cannot let my campaign be a part of aiding a surrender to terror.’†(www.kansascity.com/340/story/480568.html)
Guess what will happen if Obama the Muslim should get elected — or, if Billary should try to claim another eight years!
Maybe a nice little condo in Denmark or Sweden would be a good idea.

Fury abounds over Coquille PD breaking suspect’s neck
Comments continue at The World over an article about the tragic breaking of a suspect’s neck by Coquille PD officers. This completely preventable tragedy is a lose, lose deal for everyone. The entire community, the victim, his family, the officers have all lost here, there is no bright spot.
Why are these officers still on the street? Whether scared or overzealous or angry or any combination thereof, the dynamics that led to this tragic event need to be analyzed to prevent them from ever happening again. Without this the officers involved and others trained and indoctinated into the same enforcement culture are a hazard to the entire community.
UPDATE: Dian is taking a fair amount of abuse in the form of the usual Coquillian style of anonymous ad hominem attacks. She always keeps her head up though and stays on course with her message, I have a lot of respect for Dian.
It seems that we justify inappropriate police behavior by spreading fear, “what if a sweaty methhead is at your door with a loaded gun, ten pounds of C-4, a five gallon can of ammonium nitrate, a cigarette lighter and looks really mean”. Then we further glorify the police for putting their lives on the line for us. As one of my friends likes to say ‘let’s all just hide under our beds and be vewy, vewy afwaid‘.
Chilling video on the thought police bill HR-1955
Yes, our own Peter Defazio voted for this. His response is explanation is below
Thank you for taking the time to let me know of your concerns with H.R.
1955, the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Act. I
appreciate hearing from you. There are legitimate reasons to be concerned about the possibility of
domestic terrorism. One of the worst terrorist acts in this country,
the Oklahoma City bombing in which 168 people were killed, was carried
out by domestic terrorists. We know there is significant terrorist
organizing via the internet and among the U.S. prison population. We
know there are terror cells in this country. We know the U.S. is an
attractive target to terrorists.I have one of the strongest records in Congress regarding the fight to
preserve our civil liberties. I voted against the USA PATRIOT Act,
legislation establishing military tribunals, the President’s warrantless
wiretapping program and other efforts by this administration to
over-reach and undermine the civil liberties of law abiding citizens.I think some of the characterizations of the Violent Radicalization and
Homegrown Terrorism Act have been a bit sensationalized. The bill would
simply establish a commission to study ideologically based violence and
make recommendations to Congress on ways to prevent it. The legislation
does not authorize the commission to take any action other than to make
recommendations. This legislation would not bring out the “thought
police” or result in censorship. Rather, just as terrorists have
stepped up their efforts recruit and train people to perpetrate violence
against this country and its citizens, we must also step up our efforts
to prevent them from succeeding. A better understanding of the causes
of ideological violence can be a useful tool in that effort. You obviously have strong feelings about this legislation. I would
encourage you to read the actual text of the bill. If, after reading
the bill, you still have concerns, feel free to follow-up with me more
specifically. As you know, the bill passed the House on October 23, 2007 by a vote of
404-6. The Senate must now act on the bill.Again, thanks for your message. I hope you will continue to let me know
your views on issues before the Congress.
